NNECOS Membership

We invite you to join the Northern New England Clinical Oncology Society (NNECOS). NNECOS is a tri-state regional affiliate of the American Society of Oncology (ASCO). Your membership increases our visibility, voice, and influence on a national scale, and helps each and every oncology practice within Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

We offer our membership three educational meetings annually. The annual spring meeting focuses on up-to-date practice management issues. The OCN Review course is offered in conjunction with the spring meeting, helping to prepare nurses for the OCN exam. The two-day Annual Meeting features updates on clinical advances and practice management with poster and abstract presentations from our tri-state region.  This event attracts more than 150 health care professionals and is an informative weekend for physicians, nurses, PAs, NPs, pharmacists, social workers, PTs and administrators, with CME's and CEU's offered.

Our society began as a joint effort of oncologists and hematologists from the three Northern New England states to work together to maintain quality patient care and to pursue professional education. Recently, we have also reached out to our colleagues in radiation oncology and surgical oncology, as well as to fellows in programs in our region.  In an increasingly regulated medical environment, it is important that we work together to advocate for our patients and our profession, supporting access for all patients to quality cancer care.

Please, join* the Northern New England Clinical Oncology Society. We all have a need to participate in the political, economic, and scientific debates that challenge the cancer care community nationwide.  Our organization is one of the few places we can express ourselves effectively. We look forward to having you and other health care professionals within your office as members.
